Unofficial word from Airtel Broadband on speed increase!

I am really disappointed with Airtel. I hope people who have moved from 512 to turbo 1299 know the trick Airtel has played on us. This is what we get to support Airtel

Seriously. I was offended and felt cheated myself. 1099 Explore was the other set of users with double speed who didn't get the offer. At one point of time while pursuing the double speed offer I even contemplated reducing my speed to 256 kbps and let Airtel know my displeasure. In my case it actually required a call to the Nodal Officer to get things moving. Haven't had a problem with Airtel until this point of time.

fromtoday im getting 2mbps but i was on 1099 plan and migrated to 1mbps plan by double speed offer for 100rsfrom today im getting 2mbps speed i cant believe

I was on 256kb @750/- pm ,then i upgraded to 512@ 1099/- i applied for double speed by paying 100 extra, now i am getting 2 mbps speed. wonder whats happening

12 Mbps!!! WOW. 6 months is a good enough time. I can manage with 2 Mbps for the cost of 1 Mbps

you said u were getting 12mbps = 12mbps/8= 1.5MBps i guess that much fast cant be obtained in regular telephone cable and it needs fiber optic!!!

What? upto 24 mbps can be obtained on ADSL2+
