Unstable ping since a day.

got my fiber connection last month and everything worked fine, ping and speed both were good especially to sea servers (thats why I got it) but since yesterday i have seen pings at 500ms to even chennai servers. (this is where i used to get less ping than even Bangalore or nearby servers in speedtest. ) restarting router doesn't fix problem. waiting for few hours seems to be the only solution right now.

I don't know about checking line stats here as I am new to Ftth. Didn't see anything like we had on adsl.

I'm facing this issue too. My pings (all locations) goes 250+ ms during the 1pm - 7pm and it will be stable after that.

See the packet loss from 3rd hop. It is very much evident in both ipv4 & ipv6 traffic.

maybe bsnl isn't able to handle the load. They started fiber just 2 months back and when I got the connection, they already had 100+ customers in my city so it will be much more now.
