Lol. Dad's plan was expiring on 4th. I just recharged for a year and new expiry is now March 31 2026 and not April 3 2026.

Airtel does not queue recharge plans like Jio?

It doesn't do queueing if you recharge too early. But it usually does with few days remaining in my experience.

I think the problem is price change which made new package appear as a different plan or something. So they enabled both at same time or something lol.

And it is exactly that. They changed pricing and even though they are the same plan.

another annoying thing happened today. cook usually does a recharge of 100 rupee talktime to make calls to his place in nepal. he did it once without telling me. no talktime happened. he got it done again. of course, nothing happened. and then he tells me. i checked the airtel app and noticed that 100 recharge now has data. for talktime, 120 is the new (or old not sure when this changed) replacement topup that gets you around 98 rupees talktime.

The shop keeper should have informed him or the maid should have asked if ₹100 recharge is for talktime as of today.
