its high time TRAI makes 2mbps unltd as the basic norm for broadband services...UK charges 5pounds for 2mb unltd, singapore charges 18s$ so its about 550 bucks.. Damn we get only 64kbps for this much.. Japan charges 1200 for 100mbps unltd :wall:

i contacted CC abut the ul policy and was told that for 256k its 1:2 and for 384 its 1:1.
stupid policy as the 256k needs 1:1. then the 384 one
can any one cross check this? also for 512k and 1mb plans.



if this is true than my trai letter worked.

btw adsl2+ can only reach 1mb upload speed max.
why dont we have dsl and not adsl?

i am getting upto 40KBps(320kbps) upload speed

-if u ask the airtel engineer they will tell u that airtel doesnt commit anything on upload rates but i always get 1:1 on most of the plans i have tried uptil now and sometimes the upload rates were slightly better.they even offer bonus bandwith on selected plans...i used to get 60KB on 256kbps after 10pm uptil 5am.....but now they have stopped the bonus bandwith....

I have been on airtel for 2 months now..on the 384 kbps u/l plan..when connection was installed i was categorically told that there is no "upload speed commitment"

In 2mbps Night UL, i get download 2200kbps and upload 70kbps approx.. :huh:
