Upload Speed on BSNL Broadband

members/binod049/your speed 256Kbps means max 32KB/sec If you can download a 1MB file in min30 or 40 seconds your speed is ok. Test speed D/L and U/L at speedtest .net server preferably a foreign one.Post results here.
 
Thanks!.. I would also like to know how u have calculated that on 256kbps connection, my download speed would be 32KB/s.??
 
8 bits = 1 Byte256 Kbps = 256/8 KBps = 32 KBpsHere, small b represent bit and capital B represent Byte.
 
yes.. your download speed would be 32kb/s .. you should see an approx value when you download from the internet
 
I using 500c plan and getting 700-800kbps upload speed. don't know whats happen to bsnl:yahoo:. download speed also great. sometime i getting over 2mbps. Is there are anyone who gets 700-800kbps upload speed?
 
nice if you get that in 500c plan !Normally, people get very bad upload in 500c plan !I get 512kbps+ always (64-70kBps) in my home 750UL

this is done only when u keep only upload .........
 
@members/bluecafe/Please check at speedtest.net say Brisbane server and give the link.Others who also claim higher speeds either in D/L or U/L please give test report as above.
