I don't think speedtest give the original result. when i test my speed, it showed:

Here's the upload speed image while i upload some file to my site.

this is done only when u keep only upload .........

My download speed average 230-260KB/SEC. sometimes i get over 300KB/SEC.

Upload speed average 700-800kbps. its mean 90-100KB/SEC.

well i keep download & upload both. but that time i get 500kbps upload speed and download speed 200-220KB/SEC.

Please check at speedtest.net say Brisbane server and give the link.
Others who also claim higher speeds either in D/L or U/L please give test report as above.
I am not saying my upload speed higher than download speed. i said my upload speed awesome.:P

ok u r using the p2p emulies or areshey drag the bandwidth but u have not shown the upload and download speed separately

never trust speedtest results so blindly.using a trick i can get speedtest to show my connection speed as 5000kbps but that doesn't mean my actual speed is 5000kbps.also download speed is shown in KBps & 1KBps=8kbps by all browsers/download managers/torrent softwares etc.:P

depends on what u wanna use the internet for, when on bsnl connection even on a 2 mbps connection when we try speed test to mumbai servers we get 4 Mbps connection speed.....

speedtest.net perfect site to test your bandwidth

but this BSNL has no direct internet connection to the outer world........
this is true try to trace a server in US u will get that ...........

and more over we have very poor latency ..........this is the reason we have such a speed test to u

but please if u know anyone other than bsnl they will get the right speed test .................

and latency will be very low to those people .....

see this thing u will get the every thing that u need ...........

this the server which was in mumbai mx01.hns.net.in in speed test.........

no dude, i'm on Home 500 which is 256knps - upto 2 mbps (1.5 gb limit) which comes at a rental of Rs.500/- pm,
but i guess i was on Home 1000 when i did all of these. i.e, 382 kbps - upto 2 mbps (5 gb limit) & the rent of Home 1000 is Rs.1000/- pm

from bsnl i guess 512kbps unlimited is the best you could go for, higher speeds are more expensive when compared to other isp's
