I have not changed any setting in the modem.
When I need to switch connection I just change the RJ11 jack connecting to the splitter.
My modem is with default setting(as it works well since last one year).

i had the same problem, then i pushed the reset button at the back of the modem then voila everythings fine

try operation mode G.DMT for your combo plan & then see if your SNR values increases.
