This airtel fiber executive is asking for 2600 on Rs499 plan as installation charges

@Om khade Usually, Airtel doesn't charge any installation charges. Probably, it is a new thing. Contact Airtel via social media to make sure, it is really true.

First month charge by lco is 1769 first month free included @50mbps or 2828 with 3 months @ 100mbps.

Airtel representative said installation is free for 799 plan (2828 for 3 months) and you will be charged installation charges based on wire length used for 499 plan.

Sounds about right. Free installation for the 799 plan when paid via advanced rental. Do keep in mind that you cannot change your plan for the first 3 months.
No idea about actual charges for the 499 plan, but they do take installation charges for that plan separately.

Installation charges for the 499 plan will be will be 1769.
Rs (1000+499)+18% GST = Rs 1769

This is for 1 month.

and now they have also plugged the loophole of downgrading your plan after installation. You can only change in the last 15 days of your current plan expiry.
