im on limited 1000 plan.. and get 230 kb/sec on that time in flashget .....you need to understand some links could be slow even if you have faster connection. esp torrent its slow for me also.its the problem of the torrent and its speed then anything. try downloading from link-removed you get the correct measure of speed.

Yeah totally true... me from cal as well and bsnl is clearly throttling bandwidth between 2am to 8am. Speeds are totally fine during the day but at around 2 10 am a server reset of sorts occurs where the data transfer stops for like 30 secs and then you end up getting horrible speeds with really high latencies. I thought this bsnl would be a change for the better after using sify.... damn.

Do you guys start a new session i.e. login after 2 am for your nu? I always schedule reboot of my modem after 2am and again b4 8am to create a new session so that the free and nu time dosen't overlap. Well... yesterday night I did not do this... and let my session from earlier in the day continue that is sometime at 11pm... to my surprise all the speed jitters did not happen, and I got pretty decent speeds 786 mb on a torrent with with 33 seeds. Try this out and lemme know if it works for you guys... just to recheck i'll schedule a reboot of my modem again tomorrow at 2am.

Ya true.I am a home 500 user too and facing d same problem.Complaining does not show any improvement.They say that the speed can never be as slow as 20 Kbps.They r really playing tricks wid us so that we cant dnld more during free time.
