Videocon D2H DTH: Clarity Issue

I think its mistake of that channel program schedule list maker. Does it happen with all channels / few channels?

It seems D2H also included in that. Look it shows schedule from 00:00 hrs & not from right time.

Its happening with most channels that i view. So the issue is there for sure. Now on whose end is it, we dont know - the list maker, or the STB. Lets hear what they have to say.

Its clarity thread here so I want to talk about clarity which I watch demo in Big Bazaar.

There were few HD TVs in the mall. On a TV there was discovery in sd format running (D2H HD) & other TV there was Travel HD (Tata HD). Both channels was on many TVs I prefer HD TVs & among those I prefer good picture quality tv. Many tv hadnt good picture quality.

I found SD channels not look good on HD TV but HD TV was good about HD Channels. I think if I move to HD I will face same problem with SD channels which is very bad. It seems in the future HD will rock at lower price & many can afford HD. That day will arrive soon.

Maybe the reason is incomplete list by program schedule maker. D2H is not guilty for this but D2H is guilty about their software which highlights the program is on. But its ok we both dont know the right reason but we can guess.

Ok.....so finally 1 engineer did came up just now. And before i cud show any other issue, a new issue had come up - Star Movies HD had no audio. That person called up his area office and Mr. Kiran over there said that theres some issue from Star people which is why there is no audio. Now we need to ask other users of other DTH for this.Then for EPG Mismatch, mascot's photo came in very handy. thanks Mascot! I mailed the link to the page 22 of this thread to Mr.Kiran & he also saw it. I actually pointed out the exact issues that were visible from the photo itself & he agreed on the issue.Next, the audio mismatch.......i kept Star Gold HD for around 5-10 minutes & the issue was visible to the engineer.So now we have 3 issues, of which 1 is to be confirmed from embers around here. Other 2 are certain, and he said another senior person will come to look into the issues.

Ok, here is my update of EPG Mismatch. I will again send this link to Kiran........it wud be as further proof of the issue.





Its pretty clear over here, that the EPG is showing us Scrapbook, followed by Lingo Bingo, ie the 4:30 PM & 4:45 PM shows, whereas actually, the channel is showing the content, which is followed by these two shows, ie, the Weather report.

Actually my hands are tied up for you guys Results... else would have taken my local technicians a ride... would have been more fun, as my local guys dont know really what is that.. even though i call cc they will send this technicians only :tasty: what a funny, what a funny!only god will understand the situation....I learnt one thing that, Until you get a problem the Operator is good... once you get a problem,, we have to go mad with these guys!

Now i have sent a link to this page of the thread to the engineer who talked to me on phone. I hope he does understand that we are genuinely facing this issue. Its just that we are pointing out, others dont do that, coz they dont have the medium.
