Videocon D2H DTH: Clarity Issue

That would be a wise decision. How came they easily agreed to replace kartik DVR and you are complaing them since long but still no sign to replace .
 
Replacing the DVR will not be a solution. There is some inherent issue with all DVR's which is causing this. Their technical team should look into this seriously. Please show their engineer this thread so that he understands that this is not a single issue. They need to find the root cause for this.
 
I mailed him the link to this thread.@ Mascot.....U might have missed out on this......they replaced my DVR last Saturday. And thats why i mentioned - "100%" free Hard drive. And still the problem is persisting.
 
AWW. :( i just placed an order for HD DVR from Videocon D2H :( is this the version that is affected?
 
@chromaniac Yes its the HD DVR which is affected. But not a very major issue. If we all put pressure , they will probably fix it. You can check the star world HD channel for about 10 minutes during installation and notice if you see the issue. Do not accept the connection if you see it. Show the technical team this thread.
 
But i still dont understand that how Mascot, who is on HD DVR, isnt facing much of an issue!
 
An engineer came today again.......on first instance when we observed Star Gold HD, it didnt misbehave. Then after a while when he called up his senior to inform that issue seems to have vanished, i just changed to Star Plus HD. And while i was talking, it started to get out of sync. The senior told me to report again after 3-4 hours. And it was still the same. he has now said that he is forwarding my issue again. Lets see what turns out.I clearly see some patch coming on for DVR firmware......no other reason is visible.
 
that's one nasty recurring problem for DVr users. d2h ppl have to issue a patch to rectify it.
 
I got my DVR Changed (they gave me BRAND New) on 4th Nov evening, as i went to Hyderabad i coudnt get into much... today i watched, Still now i didnt get any Audio Mismatch... anyway once again i will check in the Night and give my feedback on the same... When they gave the New DVR, as mentioned by one of our User i was getting Menu same as he mentioned... even Logo was SD Box logo on the TV Screen but once it got upgraded then it came back to normal... There are Many Issues with DVR (what i heard officialy confirmed) they are going to fix these with some Firmware soon, i think thats why they are dragging those issues..... hope they will fix with the Newer Firmware soon.
 
Check again. It might not b solved as yet. Change channels a few times and u will realise.But yeah i too hope theres an update soon.
