Videocon D2H DTH: Clarity Issue

Mine is also Oct 2010.Engineer reset dvr. No solution. I surprise other dont face this problem. Technically its ok. But if they dont face the problem it also not to face by us.@ jayminPlay & change music channel till 5 seconds & notice.

Sadly, theres no way out. Or if there is a tweak, then most of us dont know abt it!

May be Dish TV use the way. They asked me that which way I would like Dish TV alert? Mobile alert / Dish TV alert?We need to check is it available on d2h / not? I saw on my online a/c where option to choose way of alert but when I go to change setting it shows error.

^^^^YEAH, When i was having dish tv, i told the CC to stop the spam msgs in the STB, the next day it totally stopped.D2h CC is clueless abt this issue

Yes, absolutely correct. I had opted for B-Mail i.e it comes to my STB and not on my RTN.

@ MAX....I dont think i need to specifically go thru Music channels only. If the problem is there, it cud be with every channel. I have never noticed it!

Ok. We have problem. But u r lucky Mr. Jaymin. Congrattes.

The engineer gave me option to swap dvr but I thought if it also swapped dvr & if there is any defect I will loose brand new DVR. Instead of take dvr from there store its better use brand new dvr with few defect.

Actually dth alert is reasonable way for them instead of go through many mobile companies but its headache for us. Lets see they follow it / not.

Dude, i think most other members arent facing this kind of issue! I dont think i m "Lucky". May be, its ur bad luck. Anyways, if the engineer is telling to swap, then go for it. I dont think they can give u a used one.
