Videocon D2H DTH: Clarity Issue

Today the engineer came to my house to check my complaint... he changed 100's of channel and checked... at last he has accepted there was some problem... he told if i reset it will be ok... i told him before i lodged the i didnt with RESET WITH FORMAT but still same and also i more problem is that The first content i am recorded was stucking... (May be HDD Problem)... He called all the superiors and said the problem with the DVR so he has replace the box... i told him... what you guys do ur swapping my BOX somany times why its repeatedly having problem... he dont have any answers... instead he said In tirupathi 6 users using DVR and there was no complaint... i said it means, they will be worrying by this time why they took D2H... u see after few months all these customer will not be active....I told him clearly for SWAPPING Box i need the BRAND New, if they bring something old/serviced... i wont accept and i will raise this issue to TRAI... he promised that he will get a new box in two days...Lets see....

They cant give u used boxes. When my box was swapped, they had opened a new box altogether.

If the local guy gave u, then its a malpractice on his part. DO keep an eye on what he brings for u next time.

@ JayminOn which issue u changed ur dvr? What was problem?

Actually last time while swapping the box, that was the opened Box which came to be not the sealed one, when i asked him he said he has updated the box and bringing so that he can save time while installing...This time i will confirm them that i need to get the Sealed pack.

@ MAX...On that issue of lip-sync. They thought that may be it was the fault of the STB.....so they tried changing it.

It was the A/V mismatch problem of Star HD Channels re. Dont tell me u dont know about it It got solved after they made system level changes.

I thought right after post my last reply. Thanks. Now dont u have such a problem? I face it with Star Pravah & never found a solution & waiting for pkarthik replace box result too. If u dont now face the problem I also would like to complaint for that to cc. Thanks.

I got a Audio missmatch and some clarity issue too, that was rectified with the Swapped Box... now i am facing Movie Stucking problem & HDD problem... hope i am explaining clrealy in the Previous thread... The Area Manager called me and said he will be coming on Wednesday... lets see...

@ MAX, my issue wasnt solved by changing the box. He changed it, but it didnt solve the issue. Then they made some changes in their systems may be, which rectified the issue. Never have i faced such issue after this solution.@ Karthik,Movie getting stuck.....hmm, do u have any magnetic thing like Speaker, HDD, or even ur Phone around ur STB? I had placed my external Hard Disk by the side of DVR once & it was getting stuck. Other thing thats possible is that signal might have gone weak. Check out whats the thing!
