Is this the first time you are using DTH connection ?

Yes, Before that I was using Hathway STB. And their PQ are also too good if TV is not greater than 32" . I was having 25" and Pictures were damm clear in it. That was the reason I didn't bothered much about DTH whereas my family at Home Town are having d2h, sisters having ADTV and TS.But, when I connected Hathway STB to my New LED TV, I very bad thing I experienced was 4:3 aspect ration stretched to 16:9 and all characters started looking fat and short. Also excluding few Channels Star Plus and Colors, PQ despoiled. So I finally decided to go with DTH and yesterday I felt that I was not wrong for my decision. So, Its my 1st experience of personally using DTH Service and hope never to go back for Cable TV again.

Well I am using Tata Sky from August -2006 bought it for 4500K....The first time i installed a dish...then by Jan 2008 I upgraded to TS+ by exchanging my TS normal box by paying Rs. 8000 (2nd Installation)....then by 2010 I shifted to another another house and added 1 more TS SD box for Multi Connection (3rd Installation).....by 2011 March again i shifted my house (4th Installation)......then July exchnaged my TS SD box to TS HD + (5th Installation)......OVer All i am a satisfied with TS over the last 5 years...I am 1 of the customers who opted to TS on the month they luanched.....I am happy with the service but when i compare to other DTH the only main issue that it has less no of tamil channels when compared to other DTH's and of course i miss ESPN HD....I would rather prefer to see ESPN HD more than Star Cricket...but when i look to other DTH's regarding HD channels except Videocon D2H others dont have both Star Cricket HD and ESPN HD Channels.....

Wow, TS may call you the one of the most Previlaged Customer. Although TS have huge Space Crunch Issue, but post New Satellite Launch, when TS would be having enough TP Space, they gonna rock the DTH Industry, But till then Other DTH like Videocon d2h will become even more superior. The way they are enhancing and promoting their services after iifa is amazing. Everyday full page Ads are there on Newspapers and Magazines. I would feel great if d2h aquire the permit of telecasting Zee HD Channels and Colors along with one HD News Channel which is scheduled to be launched soon.

When i was thinking to go for HD PVR i was slightly tempted to for D2H just for 1 reason ESPN HD...but i thought to stick with TS itself with little bit of patience as it matter of 6-7 mths they will surely acquire new satellites to provide more channels...1 thing for sure i dont need to wait for ESPN HD for 6-7 mths as i am confident that they will telecast this channel may be before the end of August...

I too think so, May be they would telecast it Event Based and too free of cost to Win their Subscriber confidence. I personally didn't prefered PVR bcoz rarely get time to watch TV and every time something or the other good programmes are being telecasted. So, PVR would never be a requirement for me.

PVR is the best product i have purchased and i am utilsing it to the maximum...

Recording My Sun TV 7.00 AM and 7.00 PM....Some Cooking programs in NDTV Good times, Fox & Taveller Channels and also in Tamil Channels....

Above all i record many movie which are telecasted in movie channel and i watch a lot...

Till now i have recorded and viewed appx 400 movies...

So finally u have got ur HD DVR too! Congrats. Btw, which package have u opted for as a part of the introductory offer? They are offering u 3-4 options right?But since u have put up pics of these HD channels, i guess u have opted for Platinum HD. I said PQ/AQ is a non-existent fuss really. U will feel the real sound once u set up an HT system with ur TV/STB.@ ajuravi.....Yeah its better to stick to the DTH provider u r comfortable with. I have been maintaining this opinion from long - All DTH players have some or the other issue. Its upto u to decide, which issue u can easily manage. Choose ur provider on that basis. In the long-run, all of them give similar sort of performance.

Thanks bro !! I had opted for HD Satellite Box as I was not having requirement of DVR . I got 1 Month Platinum HD Free. So, now I have one month to decide which pack I need to go with further. If d2h provides Zee HD channels , Colors HD and UTV Stars HD in Platinum HD, then I will surely stick to it.Audio Jack of STB is not working properly. I need to try for 15 minutes to get proper output. Also, Engineers were not able to elaborate me now to use SDIF port for Audio Output. And Post Installtion if I need any help, do I have to call CC only or any local number is also there ??

U can call up the CC. but i think u can call up D2honline to arrange for Reliable engineer.
