About getting Rs. 1000, yes. they are giving the amount as a recharge in ur account. I cudnt avail, as i had upgraded in Feb end, when the offer wasnt there. But i have heard a few people getting the refund.

Lastly - D2h is a decent service, especially if u r looking for True HD channels. And the customer service is quite quick too. Its 1 of the best when it comes to Customer service.

What is new idea in that? Did you found any gain there? I think your statements trying to say that.

Travel XP is available on Dish HD if i am not wrong. But whats this "Incablenet HD"??

I didn't find Travel XP HD on Dish Website and Incablenet is same like Hathway .

I read that update from Travel XP page actually. that was a few months back. People had already started saying that, Dish TV has added the channel to some lower pack as an introductory offer, but soon they will make it a premium channel. Dont know anything more than that!And about Incablenet - I had been asking that cable guy since long - why dont we have HD channels & when will we get it. he always said 1 thing - "I dont know" to both questions!

I actually remember someone from Incablenet only mentioned in this forum. And Customers of Dish had mailed a lot to Travel XP. So might be they would have added it. Need to re-check again. Only thing I hope is if they would have added it on True HD and not upscaled HD .

It wud require sheer talent to first downscale an HD channel & then upscale it to HD again!

Hello Everyone, Today I asked atleast 4-5 retailers of Videocon D2H in Hyderabad for the D2H HD DVR, all of them have given me a waiting period of at least 1 week (went upto 20 days with some) and they have said there is some issue with the software in the HD DVR sets given by videocon and the company is replacing them and also there have been a lot of complaints from the HD DVR recorders. This issue turned out to be the Deal Breaker for me as buying an HD DVR is a big investment (in terms of the STB and recorder) and I wanted to make sure that I get something which has been tested and proven.... And also while comparing HD DVR's across different DTH operators I felt that the cost factor is same, Videocon is cheaper in case of HD and SD, it also has ESPN and Star Cricket in HD, but I had to sacrifice them for sake of tested and proven HD DVR...So have finally decided to go with Airtel HD DVR - Payment has been made and the they are installing it tommorow morning ... hoping airtel adds Star Cricket and ESPN soon to its HD (which it should to counter the competition) Cheers

I hope D2h doesnt even THINK of wasting its TP space behind this channel! We dont want to watch Rugby after all. Wud prefer an M Tunes HD or UTV Stars HD!
