Vodafone 3G coverage

HelloI stay in Noida and occasionally travel in N India. Now barring Delhi, all the other N Indian states seem to only have Airtel 3G. Any idea how is the Airtel network quality in these N Indian states like UPW,Haryana,Rajasthan,HP etc

you can easily use idea n airtel 3g data pack with vodafone sim while roaming, dont worry data will deducted from data pack only. for 2g it will fall back vodafone 2g

Did not get this .. So do you mean to say that I can use 3G services of Airtel and Idea on roaming when I am a vodafone user ?

Yep either of them or may be both if they have 3g coverage in that state.Like i was able to use my airtel delhi sim in pune mahatashtra on Vodafone 3g network with data deducting from my 3g pack.

Yeah even on my trip to udaipur I was able to use Airtel 3G on my vodafone sim .. I just changed the network preference to manual and selected airtel as preferred network while in rajasthan ..

I have traveled extensively in Haryana and my phone lets me use Airtel 3G on roaming

This is really very interesting because I am under the impression that after the recent HC order making 3G sharing pacts illegal amongst telcos , this is not allowed.So now if I am a Vodafone user , I can use 3G only in those circles where Vodafone has a 3G license.Did you use this feature recently ?
