any one on Vodafone prepaid in Mumbai please answer my query.

After 30 days of recharging 102 rupees, 100MB 3G data, the 3G signals are disabled by vodafone?

Why would they cut your 3G signal?? They are the red devils. They want all your money. They let it continue and charge you 10p/10kb after your validity or 3G data allowance is finished.. This charge is taken out of your prepaid balance. It works out to approx Rs. 10000 per 0.97 GB. So enjoy the royal rip off. :D

i have a feeling they will disable 3g once u finish 30 days.any one has done it in practical?if the reason was to mint money, they would have activated 3g on all subscribers. Airtel ,reliance, and dolphin are doing it.I also had argument with VF that if I don't need data plan, just need video call, can u activate it? They said NO.

I have activated 3G plan for 100MB which expires on 15 June. I will have to see what happens after that.
BTW we can check 3G data status by dialling *141*10#. It shows data balance and validity period for Vodafone prepaid.

3G is 10p/10KB after allocated bandwidth? are u sure?because 2G rate is also same. i doubt they will give 3G at same rate. so OP may be right. 3G goes after u finish of allocated MBs

My cousin lost Rs 1000 few days ago as she didn't knew whether her data validity was over. However this might change as too many people will complain like she did.

heh. faced something similar aircel 2G recharge. they would not alert me when the package got expired. they started charging me per KB of data. and bam. all balance gone. airtel does it much better. my package is automatically renewed every month. and i get an sms alert one day before about the future recharge.

Atleast for Vodafone postpaid in Mumbai....you get an alert sms on any package about to expire.Alert sms will tell you 1) when the pack will expire2) it will inform that if you dont do anything ...it will auto renew3) it tells you how to deactivate it ..in case you dont want to continue the packSo i expect the same in prepaid also :|
