Vodafone 3G Validity question

Today my Rs. 99/100 MB plan expired. But there was no message about it. And mobile still displayed 3G for my network. After I browsed around 600-700 KB, almost Rs. 1 was deducted from my account.I tried to activate same plan again by sending "Act MI100" to 144, but I got message as MI100 is already active! That means after 30 day 3G continues (with costly browsing rates) :OI cancelled plan by "Can MI100" and there was no 3G display on my mobile. After cancelling, I was able to subscribe MI100 again for 30 days.So I think 3G remains active after that subscribed period is over. This is not good, they should either cancel 3G automatically or auto-renew the plan by deducting the amount from our balance like EDGE plans.
 
After end of 2nd month on 3G with 100 MB plan, this time I didn't send cancellation message. later in afternoon, I got sms that my 3G plan is over and I would be moved to Pay as go 3G. So with it I continued getting 3G signal (but browsing was costlier).
I was able to subscribe again to 100 MB plan by sending ACT MI100 to 144.
