Vodafone 4G LTE launched in Mumbai

Final news. Vodafone 4G has soft launched in Malad region of Mumbai. Few towers are up and running there. They have started mass deployments of 4G and should cover whole of Mumbai in 6-7 months.

Got my 4G SIM today. A scan for 4G network is showing me this (Dahisar East)

Not able to register on the network though. Does this mean that Vodafone is testing 4G signals in my area?

Yes. They have started deploying 4G capable masts in northern suburbs of Mumbai.

Saw LTE signal in Dadar. Unfortunately my new 4G sim which I got from Vodafone Store 2 weeks back shows no signal. Both the numbers on 4G sim are not able to register on the network. Idiots.

BTW Loop Mobile LTE is RJIO.

Haha I didn't eve notice it. MTNL and BSNL are beyond recovery. They will not survive 4G wave. This is coming from guys who had a head-start in 3G technology.

Sad scenario.

Update: New 4G sim activated. But one cannot latch on to Vodafone's LTE network yet. At least in Mumbai.

Prepaid 4G sim. It was given free of cost.
