@srikanthuk
When i called and asked they tell me "sir we did not understand what you wrote on the email". I can believe that but at least in your case they admitted it, if you see my experience at
https://broadband.forum/vodafone-india-mobile/65173-vodafone-india-beware-got-cheated/
I realized that even when they didn’t admit it.

‘I didn't want to fill the forums with my rant but that Vodafone India post really pissed me, this is what i hear every time, we will help you, just fill this form or write an email and then they vanish. So i wanted everyone to know what happened.’

Don’t worry we appreciate your sharing your experience with us so we know what we can expect from our 'service' provider. :impissed:

On a lighter note. :wink: There have been many posts from members that if their Mobile Number Portability is not granted then they would just flush their SIM card down the toilet :rofl: Phew. At this rate most Municipal authorities would start screaming that their drains are getting choked with SIM cards. :hysterical:

UPDATE: Continuation of post #72. My friend went to the Vodafone store at churchgate today & the story they told was that since he was on a corporate user group he would first have to opt out from this scheme. Wait for THREE months, yes that’s right THREE months :ishock: before he can opt for Mobile Number Portability. Amish looks like another ‘reason’ for your list. :wall:

Haha, actually i already generalized that reason... i.e. certain scheme active. Which can be CUG or corporate plan.God knows how can they say wait for 3 months.

I have a feeling that this 3 months is some arbitrary number that jerk must have given at that time since we don't have a way to cross check. Trust the govt to come out with a rule which can be circumvented so easily these companies on a nation wide scale & there is NOTHING we can do.

So true :@

Well very nice, if thats the case they'll use the same reason and block my porting request. I did call those idiots and ask them if i'm in a corporate plan is it an issue?? They said no and there is no reason to block my porting request

If they do that write to the Nodal office to clarify in writing the reason they are giving. They have a habit of calling you as they claim its faster (which is right to an extent) but I think the main reason is its easier for them (time & energy wise) AND also they can talk any crap when its not in writing.

I now have a Vodafone 1GB for rs.99 going pretty good so far..can watch all the sites and no additional charges..so good...but what took them so long..sigh..better late than never..

They have given me Rs.199 3gb plan and also offered Rs.299 5gb unlike the site one which was given on the site..................Edit: They didnt offer me the 99 one though :O

How you people are getting such plans ? I asked for GPRS plan, they said they have only Rs.199 for 1GB plan. Nothing less than that. I am a post paid customer.
