two weeks back i booked an mtnl connection.i got a call on thursday from shukla to come to exchange with my router to get it "programmed"i bought my router on thursday itself & went to the exchange on friday.he says why didnt u come yesterday to the exchange? (now i'm the culprit??)he makes me wait for 45 min. then he starts setting up the routerfirst of all he takes a connection of my telephone line in the exchange, so he can configure it there itself & he doesnt have to come to my house.i had a Linksys ADSL wireless router WAG54G2. he says this router is new & i dont know how to configure it.so we call linksys toll free helpline. the guy on the line is so confused that why am i in an exchange to do such a thing.this mr. shukla doesnt know how to talk in english & his cell phone keeps ringing & he asks the linksys support to wait. :pfinally i realize that setting up the router was just a piece of cake. the main thing was that he has to take my signature on a piece of paper saying that he has setup my connection.

Although I decided to get a MTNL broadband connection few days back....but somehow I had the feeling that I shud not go with it....may be only the intuition.....but ya.....i was not convinced enough. Finally now after much of a thought/r&d etc etc.....i am deciding to go for Airtel IPTV as I spoke to Airtel executive and he told me to get 256 UL plan......u need to pay 899+tax for internet and phone.....So IPTV is 1000bucks...and in any case I had to buy something for the tv....so this seems to be gud deal to me......

well yeah. 999 + tax is a great iptv plan from airtel. i end up paying more than 2000 for 512 kbps + iptv. suckers dont give me a discount on me having a faster connection.
