Looks like BCCI has had enough of SL and has now shifted their focus to Windies. This starts prior to the tour Down under. Reckon they don't wanna be winless in the interim. But, you never know!

This series has become one of the lowest profile series. With Windies returning for 3rd time in 4th year for a tour. Looks like they are the new Sri Lanka.

The tour consists of 5 ODIs, 1 T20I & 3 Tests

Ashwin rested. Karn Sharma & Stuart Binny could have been given more chances. Vijay selection is a question mark.

Akshar Patel, the Gujarat and Kings XI Punjab left-arm spinner, has been added as the 15th member to an otherwise unchanged India squad for the remaining two ODIs against West Indies. Akshar, along with Manish Pandey, has also been included in the 14-man squad for the only T20 international that follows the ODIs.
