what if you pair SC UPC (Blue) connector to SC APC (Green) on your FTTH modem (ONT) ? can it reduce speed ?

Actually there is a loss of about -3 to -5 when they are interconnected.

no issues will arise if the connector is swapped. only loss will be optical insertion loss which will upto 2dbm to 3dbm. unless the installation guys connected you at -27dbm, you wont have any issues. pon's optimal range is -8 to -28, at -28 your pon will go off sometimes and you will get internet downtime. you can check the optical RX status in ont status page.
