Tough Questions to Answer !But will try to answer it ! 1. Rsync and Host all of the Linux ISO / Packages so i need not have to worry about downloading them everytime . Maybe kid next door will also benefit from my local mirror.2. A Private FTP to host my data so that i can access them remotely.3. A Private Website to store my pictures & videos and share with my family . I got tons of those and can't manage on CD / DVD's 4. Community Game Servers Localized to my choice and area.My needs are pretty fulfilled ....

Seriously though, with fast Internet, I will start using the Internet like it's supposed to be used. For one, no longer will I choose "360p" and then pause the video while they "buffer-up" in-order to ensure smooth play-back. 1080p videos and movies FTW!

1. A good ISP will have these in it's repository and will not charge for downloading.

2 & 3 are agreeable to a point - there are cloud services which are suited to doing exactly these things, as you'll find that most residential broadband connections around the world forbid such behaviour.

4. A good ISP will have game servers anyway, so you wouldn't need to unless you want to host a private LAN in your home.

We do Youtube with no buffering at 1080p, as demonstrated in a rather shoddy quality Youtube video taken at 3am one morning.

But where is such connection? :iconrofl:

I have the connection. Unfortunately everyone else has waiting until the issues are settled.

Even I have 100mbit/s Connection. Even I can play 1080p Video on my 10Mbps connection Without buffering.Admin, Please Shut this thread as i feel again Due to Hayai people would get banned. You can open it when the ISP actually launches.

And those issues will be settled in how many more years?

You're one of a very very small amount - there should be more 100mbit/s connections about.

This isn't a Hayai specific thread.

Your guess is as good as mine. It had better be soon otherwise I'm going to look like the biggest idiot in India - at least as of now I have the chance to redeem myself if something does come through.

Yep, I've seen that video a few months back and I am waiting for Hayai (or Beam) to come to Chennai first and take my money already!

There is no good Indian ISP who offers Linux Mirrors except HNS whose Repo is Limited. IIT Chennai the nearest of all hosts some but speed is not up to the mark.

There is no good Indian ISP who offers Game Servers. Most Game servers are maintained by individuals .
