Tough Questions to Answer !
But will try to answer it !
1. Rsync and Host all of the Linux ISO / Packages so i need not have to worry about downloading them everytime . Maybe kid next door will also benefit from my local mirror.
2. A Private FTP to host my data so that i can access them remotely.
3. A Private Website to store my pictures & videos and share with my family . I got tons of those and can't manage on CD / DVD's
4. Community Game Servers Localized to my choice and area.
My needs are pretty fulfilled ....
1. A good ISP will have these in it's repository and will not charge for downloading.
2 & 3 are agreeable to a point - there are cloud services which are suited to doing exactly these things, as you'll find that most residential broadband connections around the world forbid such behaviour.
4. A good ISP will have game servers anyway, so you wouldn't need to unless you want to host a private LAN in your home.
Seriously though, with fast Internet, I will start using the Internet like it's supposed to be used. For one, no longer will I choose "360p" and then pause the video while they "buffer-up" in-order to ensure smooth play-back. 1080p videos and movies FTW!
We do Youtube with no buffering at 1080p, as demonstrated in a rather shoddy quality Youtube video taken at 3am one morning.
