Which CPU i3 or dual core

Depends on your work though!!But theres no big thread difference between i3 and dual core!!But go for i3 buddy!!..

wait for ivy bridge processors to release so that you can get i3 processor for less money than todays rate

If you use it for basic stuffs, then dual core is more than enough.You can even do gaming with it. I recommend that if you are a novice user. If you use substantial tools/softwares then go with later version like i3,i5,i7.

Budget? Current best budget proccy are i3 2100 and Pentium G860..
