Which modem to buy ????

hi friends,i am about to get new dataone connection...plz help me as to which modem to buy...i have heard that bsnl modem is not that good so decided to buy a new one

from when dataone is available in mumbai?anyway, there are lot of models in the market from D-Link , Netgear, Linksys, Buffalo etc.Choose according to your requirement.

only one suggestion: best one is that BSNL is giving. built in modem+wired+wireless router. my friend has it and it works excellently. and range is better than Linksys!! comes in RS1800/- only
Depends on the number of computers you use, such as desktop/laptop etc.
For a single desktop computer an adsl2+modem with two outputs( LANport and USB port) will do.
For a single laptop, a WIFI modem + router needed , so that you can use the lap top anywhere in your residence. (*conditions apply! )
Price wise Netgear is recommended. Buffalo models recommended as best in this forum by some.
