I came across the following article which claims that Airtel is providing a Wi-Fi router which is capable of delivering gigabit speeds over Wi-Fi along with their gigabit extreme fibre plan. However, there is no mention of the model of the router provided. Any clues?

That's is boot loader , right now 90 percent of home gateways use the same U-Boot boot loader. Firmware is different.

Another article popped up with vague details citing about Airtel's gigabit WiFi router which has a 4x4 radio config. Even if they provide such a router, the client needs a 4x4 receiver like the Asus PCE-AC88 to utilise the full bandwidth using four spatial stream. Most devices comes with 2x2 only.
