I was not on CGNAT (maybe because their NOC put me on dynamic public IP when they processed my bridge mode request). I was able to port forward 443, and some other higher ports (VSOL+ Unifi setup). I did not test 80 or other <1000 ports. Airtel fired me as a customer this week, so I can no longer do this. (Last mile connection issue, local techs decided not worth repairing the cable, and called it technically not feasible).

Depends, but they should be doing it without buying static ip also. Just visit your nearby airtel store and tell them. Moreover this and jio both are nowadays have become worst isp

Airtel support staff often incorrectly insist you buy one, likely due to network confusion or policy, though it can work on dynamic IPs behind CGNAT if you push hard for it or get a technician who understands.

well they dont put on bridge mode even when you buy static ip
port forwarding is not possible on CGNAT but you can on dynamic ip
my connection was on dynamic ip until night of 8th Dec when their NOC messed up everything and even after changing ip setting from CGNAT to dynamic their DHCP server is allocating ip from CGNAT pool
I have already escalated this to Shashwat and their other VP's since they are unable to diagnose issue from last 5 days and their NOC person was questioning me why you want dynamic ip zeesh
