Big names bid for IPL franchise

MUMBAI: Indian Premier League, the Board of Control for Cricket in India's (BCCI) Twenty20 format competition, is developing into a hot property much before its launch.

Among the top names doing the rounds for responding to the BCCI's offer of franchise for owning cricket teams in the IPL are Bollywood star Shah Rukh Khan and industrialist Lord Swaraj Paul. The media has already reported a list of interested bidders who include Anil Ambani and Vijay Mallya.
"Shah Rukh Khan has bid for a franchise," a top BCCI official has told IANS.

The official has also stated Paul as one among the 90 bidders. Mumbai, the game's hub and home to the BCCI headquarters, and Delhi, where the board was formed in 1928, are amongst the big favourites with bidders.

poor subhash chandra.:rofl::rofl:

I think TS also black listed Zee Sports!!!!!!!!!:hysterical::P:hysterical:

Think abt kapil dev too :D

BCCI has black listed kapil dev too :hysterical::P:hysterical:

lolz...pls dont pity subash chandra...he can probably buy a couple of other "BCCI's" if he'd want to...but there are few reasons why I am waiting for ICL....1. It'll be a fresh approach towards cricket...2. As i kid i may have missed nathan astle...chris cairns...klusener...and their likes...but now i can see them LIVE! 3. New talent...playing with the Intl greats, will help our local players redefine their playing techniques...we shudnt forget...Sachin also played for Yorkshire county...which sort of groomed him for his future...4. Ask the players IPL has signed...all the players in their list will certainly prefer to play for their respective countries than take out 45 days of their schedule for 1 IPL tournament....(and that too just to satisfy BCCI's ego that they have the monopoly of this game in our country!)5. And finally...atleast somebody had the guts to stand up against the monopolistic practices of BCCI! and that surely commands certain degree of respect from me!If Zee sports doesnt come on TS...then its TS's and customer's loss !

those idiots are busy in conducting surveys to remove channels and add actve services to loot our pockets :rofl: :hysterical: then where is the time to add new channels?

I definitely want to watch the ICL. It will be interesting. Also Zee Sports covers Carling Cup, the newly started I-League and some other tournaments as well, which I am interested in. One more thing which I feel is that after the announcement of IPL, Subhash Chandra will want to promote ICL more and get in as many viewers as possible, so he may negotiate a deal with Tata Sky. This is just what I am assuming and also keeping my fingers crossed :P.

Well more bad is Dish Tv installed 26 Camara in ICL which provide reply from everty angle.More good from Zee Sports is I-league. I saw matches on Dish TV and they provide better viewing than before and also there are 12 camara in the matches which provides more better viewing. Zee Sports now improved their quality and I-League is best results of their work. Commentry was good and it rember us of Andy and Martin of Sky Sports.

Well that's good, that they have installed 26 cameras in total and 12 cameras in a matches, which provides us better camera angle and better viewing of matches on dishtv.
