Windows 10

OnePlus 2, 3 and Xioami MI 5 rumored to get their own Windows 10 Mobile ROMs
Microsoft is apparently working on a Windows 10 Mobile ROM for a couple of new devices, including the OnePlus 2, OnePlus 3 and the Xiaomi Mi5. Last year, Microsoft released a Windows 10 ROM for Xiaomi Mi4 to give users the ability to try out the company’s new operating system.

Recently, the Chinese company introduced their latest flagship device, but it’s not yet available on the market. Same is the case for the OnePlus 3, which rumors suggest will launch by the end of the second quarter.

Microsoft is launching Windows 10 Mobile on March 17
Report says Windows 10 Mobile rollout will finally begin today
Two sources confirm Windows 10 Mobile update roll-out tomorrow

Multiple reports (or rumors) claiming W10M official update starting today. Users have to manually update by checking update (notification may not be displayed). For Technical Preview users, Insider app should select "Production" Ring to get official update.

Since My Lumia 830 is listed for 1st list to get update, I will give it try today or tomorrow :)

I think you need to install an app called UpdateAdvisor. My dad's Lumia 720 is not among those that are getting the update. I guess it's the end of the road but I hope it will get the update in the future. I read somewhere even 950, 950XL, 550 were retailed with pre-release software.

@SVK or anyone:

I tried to install windows 10 insider preview on Lumia 720.

At one point, it restarted and showed the moving gear wheel and then goes :-(

It does this in an infinite loop if the phone's plugged for charging. If i unplug, the phone just turns off.

Either the OS is not compatible or the phone ran out of space.

How to recover from this disaster? Is Windows Device Recovery Tool the only solution?

So they have scrapped out the Lumia 920 at the last moment. Anyone knows any jugaad to somehow get a stable Windows 10 build on the 920. 920 did used to get the beta releases of Windows 10.
