Plug in the USB cable from modem to the PC, go to device manager, for the new device found, right click and select update drivers ... Go to manual mode and show location of the sys file ... Must work that way ... Else if there is any way that you can get the Windows 7 online, like plugging the modem via ethernet cable, just go to windows update, plug in the modem through USB too , and search for updates ... There is a critical update for ZTE remote NDIS device, just download it and that must solve the issue.

It didnt. :(

Let me try the other way.
Thanks for your reply. :)

Yeah, I got the driver (TI USB Remote NDIS Network Device) in windows update but now in device manager, it says, "This device cannot start. (Code 10)".

Anyways, leave it.I'll manage with Ethernet.By the way, will you please tell me the easiest way to automatically reboot UT300R2U modem at 2.05 AM ?

Thats good ... I always prefer Ethernet to USB ... I have made modem reboot modules for UT300R2U and Huawei models... Download the x64 ones for Windows7. Also, Windows7 users need to enable Telnet on their PC, which is disabled by default ... U can download the reboot module, enable telnet and schedule it to run at 2:05 and at 07:55 using my software Auto-connect ... Get the latest one from here ( Read the post on how to use it, anyways, its simple :) )

Auto-connect Download scheduler PC-Gyaan

PS: Plz check which module works in your case to reboot the modem, and let me know.
