Wireless Network - WA1003A

Hi,

I am facing the problem in using wireless from the BSNL model WA1003A I have configured Wireless in the router and it is accessable if i remove the secruity WEP and WPE , but if i set security I can view the SSID in my laptop but when i brows its not browsing,

please let me know where i am missing, all the configuration is fine bcoz when i disable the security its working fine.

The security code set in modem/router and in wireless lan card sould tally.
Do you get a window asking you to type the ssid code twice ?
Start / Network /Wireless LANcard
Properties
Network settings page.
On top Window for your Wireless Lan card
click configure.
click Advanced :
see the choices and select ssid.
apply save.
try again.

Thanks for replying me.

Here I am updated from windows side, I have purchased Netgear wireless Wifi receiver, hence I have installed in my windows machine.

When I am installing the software itself it will search for my router WA1003A and ask for secruity code.When i give it will say connected with 78% strength as i have put my desktop little bit distance.

but when i browse i cant view any site, says page cant be displayed. when check the internet status by clicking the blinking icon from tray it shows sent bytes is more and received bytes is 0.

same if i disable security key from router and in desktop its works very very fast.

but with out security its not safe !

please assist me else I can send u screen shot of my router and desktop my email id is [email protected]

option 1
RECHECK wifi settings in wa1003A.
Quidway WA-1003A ADSL MODEM MULTIUSER CONFIGURATION
Ensure when your computer asks for WEP code
type exactly what you entered in Modem.

We need the WLAN card details .
Option 2

Disable Wireless settings in WA 1003A.
Use only as modem/router.
Use Netgear WIfi only.
Connect from LAN1 Rj45 to Internet port
of Netgear wifi router ( mention model make )
I have netgear WGR614V6.

Para two : If you had set up correctly ,
your WIFI network
in the computer, check like this.
(a)Switch off WA1003A and Netgear wif router.
(b)In computer click the Icon for Wireless LAN.
(c)You may see secured/unsecured wifi links.
(d)Now switch on modem/router.
(e) Net gear wizard page will open.
(f) in the list (c) the Wifi network ,you have named also will show
Automatic connection or "connect" button in bottom
