Yup. Moto, Lenovo K8 Note and now Mi A1. Good to see stock android gaining momentum. Mi A1 of course has an edge being an Android One device.

why suddenly android one? why no flash sales? why suddenly offline retailers instead of online first? why no amazon?

miui is supposed to be way to earn money in future. thats why they sell devices with very little margins. wonder what changed between google and them? maybe they're trying to get into northamerican markets through this method. but then again why sell it in india? now, i expect every device from them to include stock android instead of miui

This is an Android One device. Nothing has changed at miui. Google probably realized that none of the other companies are capable of developing a decent Android One model so they collaborated with xiaomi for this.

Usa surprisingly was not on the list of launch markets. Maybe later.
