duh. do you ever check the rating of the charger at your friend's/relative's place? usb chargers that ship with newer phones are going to be rated more than your older device. the device would refuse to charge at all if the voltage is too high. there was a guy on the forum who tried to recharge his feature phone. it flat out rejected the power bank because of the higher rating. nothing was fried.

Yes believe it or not, I always check charger's specifications before using any random charger.

I have put my phone in 1A charger, so that much I know works.

But 2.1A looks like too high.

Also voltage in this case is not issue as 5V DC is most charger give. (Mi powerbank too gives 5V)

So its better to do a homework before taking risk!! :D

Note: I said voltage is not issue but in most cases higher voltage can lead to death (phone or human)! :D

I'm using a 2a charger for my N4 since almost a year now, yet to see any effect on battery or phone. And I now occasionally use this powerbank too.

Ok. I guess I will take the risk! :D

Expecting no issue after applying, I = V / R :D

Assuming that phone will have atleast 5 ohm resistance!

So I come with another question.

Lets say I am charging Mi powerbank (MPB) and at the same time I plug my mobile to it.

Will it charge my mobile?
Will it charge MPB?
Will it charge both?

Or it will charge none?
