Nowadays Dish tv cc improved much. i have asked for realignment for my dish and cc people reached my place within 4 hrs
 
that's not Customer care job actually they must have given the lead to re-align to the nearest dealer to your place who completed this job, so the credit should be given to the dealer who performed the job on priority.for my new purchase experience things are getting real weird, no one has turn up with dish tv in even 4 days after payment.customer care doesn't have proper answer for this delay, I am getting fed up now.
 
Its Really Good, Even if the dealer has performed the job quitely nicely, and for that Dishtv have pass on the compalint to that dealer for resolution. And dealer had done their job.

yes I was quite sure about his inclination towards dish tv and pushing everyone to call customer care since his existence.
however calling customer care doesn't help in many cases.

however today is 9th day and still the shit continues. Your dish TV is inactive.

yesterday I went in person to dish distributor but even after giving all required docs, form fill up, still Tareekh pey Tareekh. now should I get myself couriered to them.

Today called customer care and wow to my shock, they said the pack you purchased is for employee only, What the hell.

Am I blind when I ordered from Special Online Offer
OR am I deaf when customer care called me to confirm the same when i made the payments.

Just went off with local dishTV guy and still he says the connection is not yet mapped to the dealer for activation. great service, I am loving every bit of it.

Oh my God, I am so tired of this stupid idiot box.

I have a free Tata Sky digicomp offer on my credit card points should have gone for it, or should have paid 999 to tata sky latest offer than for these painful 9 days stupidity and counting.

or its a Lesson learned that NEVER ORDER DISH TV Online, their promise of 24 hour installation is One Big FAT LIE.....

Their customer care has many idiots who do not know what their company is selling on its own website, and they are well trained to waste customers time with all kind of merry-go-round talks which will lead to NOWHERE.

Certainly this is like BSNL sarkari people,

I am sure Dishtv will be awarded for "Worst Customer Care" in future.
 
after 10 days of pains, Dish TV is finally working.

Had to drive to inlaws place to play all types of tech. stuff with STB, the STB provided was a newer one "ARION" and had to call dealer, customer care, as all channels' name and other menu options came to screen but not the video or audio for any channel.
tried tried and got tired, then called CC said they'll call back in 2 hours, however the call back was within a minute.
signal strength was 90% and quality 88-90% still no good

After playing all the tech. stuff again on STB with CC guy he finally said, have to send someone to the customer premises as "OTA" upgrade was failing, and was assured the tech. person would reach in 24 hours, no matter if its a holiday, was promising but
why to wait, lets try every thing around a few more times, if not already 20-30 times.

changed a few settings, don't even exactly remember what not i changed, and rebooted it many times, SLAPPED it in frustration and Did power off, and again power on, VOILA, and here comes all the channels.
no you don't have to slap it if it doesn't work, but seriously I am not able to recall what all i changed.

here's the new STB, if you guys have not seen already, menu organized much better in this one, and one other thing i liked is the dishtv Logo is much smaller on TV screen than my zenega STB's

well dear friend delivery for hardware for online purchase is min 24 hrs and max 3-5 days. Its mentioned on website as well while purchase online. Exceptions are possible as in your case. But i m happy that ultimately ur problem solved.

And he always in every DTH forum with same id for pushing to chat with dishtv cc, where as his so called DISH engineer distroyed my STB while playing with SW upgradation. Only 10990 TP is active on my dish tv stb, rest r sleeping with red lines.
