Hey benjamin,every 15 min the VC Number will come in dishtv?For me every min or sometimes every 3 sec,but sometimes rarely there will not be any number.

I am also using Dish TV for last two years, the service is not so great, i agree with you with regards to VC No flashing every few minutes. Also, there is absolutely no additions in the channels. We are also forced channels which we do not want! Why do we have to pay, e.g: i am a Maharashtrian, i cannot understand any of the languages other than Hindi, English and Marathi, same might be the case with other language speaking guys, why are we made to pay for unwanted channels? When can we select our own channels?

Why is it that Dish TV does not include; Neo Sports, Neo Sports Plus, NDTV Goodtimes, NDTV Imagine, Bindaas, Star Maza, Sahara Mumbai etc..?

What is the government doing? Why are we to follow the whims and fancies of such service providers? I don't think they are providing any of the services free of cost.

As of today DTH is nothing but a tool to foll the people, wherein the government is in connivance with the service providers, otherwise tell me a reason for Zee sports not being available on Tata Sky?

I am using dishtv for the past 2yrs,and i am not satisfied with their picture quality or sound quality compared to other Dth Players.No new major channels added on Dishtv after they added the Sun Package.Dishtv users are not able to watch India match,coz there is no neosports.We cannot watch a clear picture,always the Viewing Card Number is coming at the middle of the Picture and it makes the picture ugly.They are using Dishtv logo,Then why they are frequently showing the Vc Number.Its bad.I checked other dth like sun dth,they are not using any logo or showing numbers on the screen.Tata sky is using logo,but not flashing any numbers on the picture,but only dishtv is using this method.It sucks.Anybody satistfied with Dishtv?

This thread should have "Arent we all sad, being Dish TV customers?" rather than the above.Cable TV is cheaper than DTH, but are you saying they dont fool people too?I am a subscriber for Dish TV and Tata Sky both. I admire DTH technology and am glad not to be a part of cable TV services. Dish TV needs to be sued for their misleading "Santhust" ads...worse they have SRK as its ambassador, who seems to be endorsing it mainly because 1) The major endorsement fee of crores of rupees, 2) Its the largest DTH operator and 3) His closeness with Zee's owner Subhash Chandra Goel.Its a shame that not a single major new channel is part of Dish TV's offering. Tata Sky is not perfect, but is way better than Dish TV. The only drawback is the lack of constant monitoring and penalising for violating broadcast regulations and ignoring consumer interest by both the DTH operators and the regulator too.

i am not happy at all with DishTV. now i am paying the least monthly rental as i hardly watch channels !! (The channels which i wanted has taken off)Headlines Today (English news from TV Today) and Indiavision News (kerala's best malayalam news channel) !! They asking 4 crores from indiavision team to broadcast !! initially they begged with indiavision for getting their permission to broadcast the same. What a pathetic situation !!Dishtv sucks big time !!
