Zee Dish TV DTH Help !!! Scramble problem in some channels only

hi guys some of the listed channels are scrambling
(Real,
zee news,
india tv,
tv9 kannada,
suvarna,
tv9 Telugu,
SS music,)

One more thing just provide me the information about the signal strength and quality that u guys experiencing because i am getting Strength as 47 and quality as 37(IN THE SETUP SECTION OF HOME FEQ but strange thing is that only these channels have problem.

These channel signals fluctuate b/w 0 - 35 when its scrambling .


These majorly happens in the evening with NO RAIN AND CLOUD COVER that its a BANGALORE REGION most of the time its pleasant

scrambling mode : 40 strength ,34 quality (fluctuates to even 0 and blue dialog box signal unavailable)

Normal mode :45 strength, 37 quality (TO MAXIMUM,ONLY TO THE LISTED CHANNELS)

(IF THERE IS DIP IN 2 % OF THE QUALITY THESE CHANNELS WILL BE SCRAMBLED)


Note: all the other channels are perfectly fine without any pixalation or scrambling

May be you have to adjust the direction of your dish towards NSS-6 slightly. I think this may solve your problem.

If u r facing scramble on few channels and u told that signal level is below 50% so that is possible some transponder are missing. Becoz ur dishtv antenna is not in proper direction. It shud be in 95 degree south east and 45 degree vertical. Signal stength & quality shud be 50% or above after that go for chhnl search then prob wil resolve

retuning===menu---settings----STB Info(press OK)----sig strength&quality 50% or above then red button(setup) twice then go to option restore factory settings press ok then warning will come then press ok restore factory setting will come again then press yellow button then screen blanks then loading pls wait after that reinstall ur set top box by pressing ok then press ok then channel search will start after complete search it shud be 223 TV chhnls and 22 audio (as per current list) then press red button to save.

if retuning not solved the problem ask to cust care for repairing as 90% cases of scrambled chhnl needs repairing.

1) These listed channels have problem from afternoon 3 pm and at night it gets worst .
2) at morning from 8 am- 3 pm it is perfectly fine [Note:no problem at all in other channels]
3)Is there problem related to LCD because the day i connected it these problem arises.[reason for this question because due to large screen might stb not supporting high quality]
4) 12565/V/40700 and 12565/H/40700 only the channels which r under this freq is having problem.

Might be their is some problem in alignment, its better if you can call or mail dishtv customer care and get it resolved.

in case ur problem not resolved with the solution i have given call to cust care and ask for repairing as 90% cases of scrambled needs repairing.(there is unique pairing between ur VC and STB, that is known as pairing)

I have called the CC .. lets see what might be the problem whether its the alignment or the Transponder with the freq 12565-40700.So lets wait and see what the technical person does ?THANKS FOR ALL YOUR QUERIES

If the TP became faulty. All Dish TV Subscriber will face the same problem. But there is no news about Transponder problem anywhere. So I think the problem is with the alignment.

Hi Friend, I have Arion AF- 5010SCI STB, which dosen't have any RS-232 port in the back panel. how can I change its software? Please advice me about that. I want to use it as a FTA receiver. :huh:
