same here. got their pamphlet a few days. will get the next connection once my current one runs out. im also looking for a router.
can anyone suggest a router that will work with excitel ? with good range? i live on 3rd floor ( thats where router will be placed ) and would like to have 2-3 bars on ground , thats where my parents live , so that they can use the internet.
buget - i dont know , but as low as possible.

TP-Link makes pretty good router not sure if they are compatible with ftth

There's usually an FOT installed which converts FTTH to LAN. So any (non adsl or adsl+WAN) router should work.

Excitel uses pppoe login with ethernet cable supplied. Itts FTTB (fiber to the box/node) from where you'll get ethernet cable to the house. So any router without adsl modem will work.

I am using TP-Link archer c20. Its an amazing router with very good wifi range. It also has a usb port to connect hard disk and access over wifi.
