if it is better than Airtel & MTNL....... I would give some respect......

I would say its a saviour for the people of Delhi... we suffered long enough in the hands of Airtel & MTNL.....

In MTNL & Airtel forum.... these people are so excited with their enhanced FUP.....

and you just pity them.....

I do not think anyone on Excitel can go back to whatever they were using earlier....

I think so too. But that does not mean I would not criticize the issues on Excitel here or elsewhere. And they need to follow proper procedures. There is no nodal or appellate authority. The local LCO did not issue a bill for installation and first month of service. Local guys cut service while expanding the network without alerting the users that are going to get affected and so on. These are real issues. If the LCO does not provide good experience, it's Excitel which gets negative comments online.

I totally agree with all the issues mentioned.....

I installed the my excitel app just to check if my money was going to excitel and validity of plans..... as my LCO was not issuing any receipts.....

Having said that....

I was with same LCO... he launched Ynetworks first....... the service was very buggy..... downtimes/ slow speed at times/ poor peering etc.... I got 15 days extra to compensate for all that (in 2 months of service)... As good as any Procedure following company....

No doubt formal policy & procedures should be in place...... but these companies are very small and first want to survive before they are trampled by the likes of Jio FTTH...

i am tempted to switch from 25mbps to 10mbps plan. 99% of the times I am not using anywhere close to 25mbps. netflix does not get more than 4-5mbps based on fast.com. if they add peering to netflix, i would buy myself a tv :winkytongue:

That is more than enough for Netflix. Their HD videos are encoded at 4 to 5 Mbps. Get yourself a TV.

I do not think anyone on Excitel can go back to whatever they were using earlier....

I came back to Airtel and still on it. If only excitel provide some calling also.
Zero mobile network in house.... landline a must have.
Hopefully vo-wifi can bring some change.

excitel just went down. i am afraid of calling their helpline coz they would take me through the whole procedure of take out cable, put the cable back in. restart router. etc etc. load balancer does not show any light on the ethernet port. it's a mess.

excitel guy has cut the line on my face two times because there was disturbance on the call because i am in the basement of the house. the guy does not even wait. just cuts the call.

25 minutes later, i still am not able to register a complaint with the call center.
