5G Hotspot - ZTR

Got myself a 5G Hotspot from ZTE (MU5002), bonus this also has a Gigabit Ethernet + USB C to directly plug in your Router (to use a Failover). This is from AliBaba and cost me 22K with customs + Shipping (Fedex).

Getting the same 5G speeds what I get in my location (Jio : 900 - 1.2 G / 80 - 120 , AirTel : 300 - 400 / 80).

why haven't we seen any 5g hotspot in India. Is it because its expensive. I was considering buying 1 since 5g is unlimited .

Yes, for 1 more month roughly. I still have to test but if last 2 month experience is anything to go by, airtel 5g has a cap of 300gb/month after which they start deducting data from 4G plan

@ishanjain28 - Airtel has also started blocking 5G hotspots with MAC, like in one of Huawei no matter which AirTel 5G SIM i use it would default to 4G. I’m in their Black Family Plan and using the Data SIM. So i’m skeptical using this in my ZTE, tried once was working well.

Looks like this is a direct hit on their AirFiber revenues if people starts investing in personal hotspots but until when is the question

For me, It's still working just as well as it was working on day 1.
It may be something else other than mac address. afaik, that's not relyed to the ISP.
