@rajat_ true before moving to static my PPPoE used to be active for 21 days straight, also in this static ip I have not faced any disconnection or anything like that pretty solid from the day it was connected.
From the last 2 years airtel was down for me for a mere 5-6 times only and that too in case of fiber cuts only.

I am guessing you opted for static IP?

Oh. They did not change gateway back to your local one.
Have you noticed internet going down randomly, lately?

No, they didn't change, yeah randomly my internet goes down, and in router it shows disconnected or sometimes connecting, restarting the router brings back the connection.
