I am back again with another review or to be precise, a complaint.
My broadband was down in the month of April for 5 days. I have to call the CC 10-20 times a day but they never sent a person to my place.
Finally one fine Saturday after 5-6 days, a person turned up 5 in the evening and he again delayed it for 1 day.
So ACT restored the connection after 6 days.
All was working fine now. And all was working fine till now.
But how can ACT sit idle for these many days, they are back in action.
And since this morning, my internet is down again.
I called my friends at ACT customer care (I called them my friend because last month I spoke with them more than I spoke with my gf). As usual, I heard the two famous lines in their script. "Someone will call you in an hour" and "Someone will visit your premise today".
I am sure nothing is gonna happen today and for next few days.
Guys, I have been tolerating the pathetic service of ACT Broadband for last 1 month just because I have paid the advance rental for 1 month (Which they collect at the beginning and they don't provide connection without taking it). I can't apply for refund because according to the ACT "Policies", it will take 15 days to refund (When they have to collect money, they will be at your doorsteps in 1 hour).
I request you guys, not to go for ACT Broadband especially if you live in Indiranagar and AECS Layout.
Their service is pathetic in these 2 areas. (Mr Babu Reddy, who is the salesman, thinks that he is the CEO of ACT Broadband) People are rude and they won't respond to you properly after you get the connection.
So think about it before you apply for connection. I am just waiting for the 1st month to get over.
Update :
My internet was down for 8 days in the 1st month and as I have already paid the advance, they are not going to provide any waiver on the rent.

Sorry for the inconvenience,your issue will be resolved shortly and have passed your info to the billing team. if found they will pass on the credit to your account.
