The ACT broadband is certainly Rocking the town now... There were few Hiccups initially.. but they have really excelled well now. There is still issue like Customer care call waiting time ... hopefully that will be sorted out soon ... but as far as broadband is concerned its really Fabulous ... 1and 1/2 month and now I am well set with ACT... HIGH SPEED WITH HIGH FUP is really a feature to go for ... if I am getting that constantly .. I am ready to sacrifice on customer care call waiting :-)....Really great Broadband connection and much much much better thaN Costly Airtel and Useless BSNL...

Hello ACTian, Do you have service available in Harlur road, Bangalore.2 months back when i contacted CC, they mentioned individual apartment plans not available in our region.
 
Hi,I am back again with another review or to be precise, a complaint.My broadband was down in the month of April for 5 days. I have to call the CC 10-20 times a day but they never sent a person to my place.Finally one fine Saturday after 5-6 days, a person turned up 5 in the evening and he again delayed it for 1 day.So ACT restored the connection after 6 days.All was working fine now. And all was working fine till now.But how can ACT sit idle for these many days, they are back in action.And since this morning, my internet is down again.I called my friends at ACT customer care (I called them my friend because last month I spoke with them more than I spoke with my gf). As usual, I heard the two famous lines in their script. "Someone will call you in an hour" and "Someone will visit your premise today".I am sure nothing is gonna happen today and for next few days.Guys, I have been tolerating the pathetic service of ACT Broadband for last 1 month just because I have paid the advance rental for 1 month (Which they collect at the beginning and they don't provide connection without taking it). I can't apply for refund because according to the ACT "Policies", it will take 15 days to refund (When they have to collect money, they will be at your doorsteps in 1 hour).I request you guys, not to go for ACT Broadband especially if you live in Indiranagar and AECS Layout.Their service is pathetic in these 2 areas. (Mr Babu Reddy, who is the salesman, thinks that he is the CEO of ACT Broadband) People are rude and they won't respond to you properly after you get the connection.So think about it before you apply for connection. I am just waiting for the 1st month to get over.Update :My internet was down for 8 days in the 1st month and as I have already paid the advance, they are not going to provide any waiver on the rent.

Again today my ACT TV is down and call center also not responding. When ever call up ACT helpline number it's disappointing. Would strongly suggest all not to go for ACT TV. it's worst service by any provider.

Agree, there salesman and customer service is pathetic, there is no escalation process. Guys beware , never go for ACT.

ACT TV service is provided by ur local cable wala, not directly from ACT. SO better bang ur LCO not ACT company. What can ACT do if ur cable operator has shitty equipments?

I have signed contract with ACT TV and the same guy who installed broadband installed TV connection also, so for me it's ACT, what kind of arrangement they have in back ground , I'm not aware and damn care. If ACT as an organization has signed the contract torovide services then they are responsible. It's same like banks call center handled by BpO organizations, if call center does not provide good service, you catch hold of Bank rather then call center provider.

FYI ACT TV and Broadband helpline number is same so both the services are provided by ACT and if equipments are shitty then it's ACT Responsible , no body else.

I really dont know how the service is provided for u. At my friend plance(vidharayanapuara) the LCO is now providing ACT TV, and BB is yet to start. So u Better contact ur LCO(kick his ass). As u know, if u contact CC, they will take time to contact LCO, so again time consuming. So I suggest u that u will be knowing LCO office. If if u have problem, first go there n see what reason does he provide.
