ADSL Link Problem - Link is there but frequent disconnection

Hi. I am BSNL Broadband User of UL750 Plan.I use Huawei MT841 WiFi router. The wiring in my home is as shown as in picture in following link-

My problem is, my ADSL link never goes even while a phone call. It is always there but internet gets disconnected frequently, it freezes, takes so long to open page and I need to restart router. Why this is happening ? Is this because of long wire length? I can't cut down the wire length. So are there any booster, or anything that will give uninterrupted connection.Please Help Friends :16:

m also facing same issue as you m using wa3002g4i was not facing any issue until i was on old 59 series servers but these new 117. ips are bad disconnecting and connecting as per their will my line is also good SNR 35 and Atten 18

At that time, they said that the maximum distance of the wire joining the splitter to the modem/router should be around 2-3 mtrs. Now I am not sure whether this is causing the problem in your case but just wanted to tell you...

yes , i think iChaitanya is right....
for cable from splitter to modem,how many connections are u having in this length of 40 meter cable.... i meant in normal case (when rj11 wire is around 2-3 mtrs), the wire is connected straight to the modem rj11 interface... but i think in ur case there maybe multipile male-female connectors... each producing addition resistance for the signal.. so try with a good quality single lenght cable from splitter to modem.

but as u said, u r having a WiFi modem... so try to place modem as close as posible to the splitter and use a wifi adpter for ur PC or notebook to access net!!!

Place your splitter as close as possible to modem by using single 2 wire cable with no joints in between.try this setup you can also place a switch in between modem and your other connected machines.like tel. line-------splitter---modem----switch/no switch---pc 1,pc2 and so on.also, as you said your link status is fine ...try pinging your modem from lan side.post your resultsif success try pinging any wan ip you can use your wan side default gateway or any other wan ip ..finally ping any url like ping yahoo.com.post the results.if you are able to ping modem no problem with your wiring set up.if you are able to ping default gateway ip,any other wan ip but not able to ping yahoo.com, change your dns server use opendns server 208.67.220.220 and 208.67.222.222
