Airtel 3G Tariffs and Packages

well the pc world article says 10 bucks per MB. airtel is not going to offer 10 paisa per MB plans but let's hope they do! though it is still 100 rupees per GB

Hey thanks man... I restarted the phone and I can see 3.5G on my mobile......
And about the message: The message said "blah blah.. post activation, to chose your 3G data plan, please send 3G to 12 again. blah blah"

I can't browse now! It says connecting to mobile office and then says connection failed.

Dont think there will be much diff. I hold a postpaid plan of aircel but not even interested in 3G as their existing 2G speeds are slow, cant expect better in 3G speeds.

aircel might launch some good plans in south india. but for us here in north india, there is no hope from them

It is mobile office... APN is airtelgprs.com... looks like I need to select the one of the 3G data plans... and looks like due to some bug you can browse 3G with 2G plan intact

hehe. well. 2GB for 200 bucks on 3G would be fine for me.

750 bucks for 2GB is actually cheaper than some of their broadband plans where you end up paying as much as 550 rupees per GB of data transfer after crossing the data transfer limit.
