whats wrong with the Airtel PR guys. Why do they want people to believe in rumors rather than they themselves come out and declare the dates.Never expected these sorta things from Airtel.

have you ever wondered that they might not have decided on a launch date themselves as they are still not sure when their testing would be over?

I spoke to Customer Care in Chennai. They say that all the testing and setup of 3G is completed and the service would be launched pretty soon. The first guy I spoke to did not give a date. But when I called the second time after selecting the MNP Option in their IVR, the guy told me that the service is going to be launched on 27th Jan. I asked him if its a confirmed date or if its tentative and the response was that its 100% confirm date.But as all of us know we cannot trust the information from Customer Care always. Lets keep the fingers crossed on this .
