I have waited for a long time since DoCoMo introduced 3G for Airtel 3G. I will use it once and most probably will shift to BSNL, Airtel is not affordable at all...
3G plans in USA are cheaper. iPhone data plans before the changes (data cap) were 70 dollars per person (not family plan) with inlimited data. Too cheap!Family plan wud be more cheaper. Of course At&T service varied from place to place Seems BSNL 700 rupees plan is the winner
Yes its 10 Paise / MB. So a user can actually use 14GB before hitting Rs 2000 mark. 1.25GB Free for 650 Rs~12.75GB @10 Paise/MB = ~1305 RsSo approx 14GB can be used for 2K. This plan may suit business users.
I sent 3G to 121. It asked me to confirm by replying with 1 to 121. It said it will take up to 4 hours to get 3G activated and it also says I need to send 3G to 121 again after 3G is activated to select the data plan.
@Gopi,As soon as you send a reply as 1, 3G services will be activated. If you send 3G again, 3G services will be deactivated.Just restart your mobile. You will be logged on to HSPA n/w.
Not so sure about that. CC informed me that whatever plan you have gets superceeded by the 3G Data plan. In my case I had to opt for Rs 750 for 2GB.
The funny thing I dont understand now is- What if you are on Mobile office or Blackberry 899 plan from airtel which has unlimited data. The Blackberry symbol on my blackberry shows 3G and Blackberry symbols side by side. What rate plan am I on? Blackberry support on 7070 has no clue on whether I will be charged for data over 2GB or not.
