In my small town in UP, I get ~300-700mbps download and 50-100 upload on airtel 5g and I have never ever seen jio 5g go over 50mbps even when I was within 100m of the tower in open area

The other person is always complaining of voice breaking with my phone showing Airtel WiFi (VoWiFi), so I always have to turn off WiFi during calls. Don't think such is the case with Jio.

@Lucifer96 first 3 band you mentioned for airtel are 4g , only last is 5g i.e. n78.
While jio's both band are 5g only. Also jio has 20% more n78 bandwidth than airtel in most of circle iirc.

@ishanjain28 - AirTel looks like is disabling 5G access for all hotspots through MAC. Though the 5G Data claim is done, 5G stopped working in my Huawei device, SIM would only register if I disable 5G from its settings and will only work on 4G. The same SIM registered on AirTel 5G network in my mobile.
