heh. i want to get rid of the connection that i never got. i really do not want to get into another connection mess. :D

checked my bill today.

it is higher than what i had expected.

they seem to be charging a rental along with a plan fee.

i am not sure if i should dispute this... the bill also shows that i am now on the 1999 plan.

----------

as you can see it shows the 1999 cap on the 650 rupee plan.

i do not understand the rental charge of 997. considering this plan is supposed to cost me 650 bucks with dsl cap of 1999. :)

I don't understand .. Wht is this rental?? have they charged u on pro rata? from 28th to 4th ?

----------

btw they added Rs.99 to my bill also for some gaming .. which I never played ..

But they deducted it when I called them and complained abt it ..

yeah. the billing structure is confusing. rental should have been 650 rupees. this figure is not visible anywhere. i have a rental, a bill charge and a discount figure. i can argue about it with airtel folks. would be painful to get the details as they themselves are usually not aware what the heck is going on at any given moment.

deciphering your billRentplan 649 - 23 days - (649*23/31) = 481.52plan 1999 - 8 days - (1999*8/31) = 515.87Total Rent = 997.39DSL Usageusage = 10346.10Free usage (3GB*23/31) = -455.85Bill Cap discount = -7891.25Net DSL usage = 1999 (bill cap)Tax308.64Total (997.39 + 1999 + 308.64) = 3305.03

so its accurate right? i was told that my plan was changed on 28th of last month. so i guess you are right?

What 999 Rs rent??? For what? Telephone?? Without any free calls?

650 rupees included 3GB of data. 1999 was the DSL usage cap. (i was paying 20 paisa per MB after 3GB was consumed). 1999 is my new plan that was activated during the last billing cycle. so the post above seems to be accurate enough.

I dont understand this... u already paid for 8 days for 1999So then 51000+ MB counted is it for 23 days only? Or full 30days?

well... here is the thing. 3GB was free at 2GB. I got 2mbps at 20 paisa per MB till 1999. After 1999 I was supposed to get 256kbps. I did not anyways. 2mbps at 20 paisa per MB i believe comes to around 6-7GB. i consumed way more than that. now i was sort of expecting that 650 would be included in 1999... that does not seem to be the case right?
